Description
It was New Years Eve 2012. 10 degrees F before the sun went down. Camping at the Green River Overlook was only for a few hardy, all Europeans except for myself and my friend. We watched the sun set, then went and had a campfire. At midnight, (now -15 degree F) we returned to this spot overlooking the Green River at Island in the Sky in Canyonlands National Park, and I made a snow angel at the stroke of midnight. What a way to bring in 2013, what a way to live.
