My alarm clock woke me at 4:00 AM so I could get to Hayden Valley in time for the sunrise. The clouds were black, and a persistent, heavy, drizzle fell as I set up my tripod and waited in the cold, November darkness. My coat protected my camera, and I stood shivering, hoping that the clouds wouldn't spoil the sunrise. When the magic happened, I was stunned by the beauty, and the way the clouds enhanced the reflection. When this image is enlarged, it makes me feel so relaxed, and I just want to sink into it.
