Description
Snow in the La Sal Mountains, and rain in Arches National Park brought a rare sight. I could not miss the opportunity to set up my camera while there were ephemeral pools, (or potholes filled with rain water) at sunset. The sunset lit up the red rocks and petrified sand dunes, and turned the pools deep blue. I shivered as the sun dipped behind the vertical rocks of Arches National Park, but it was worth it.
