The Golden Cathedral is located in The Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, in Utah. The hike includes several crossings of the Escalante River (in my case in required five crossings), and a lot of downhill, of which one has to come back up, but it was well worth it. This place was so mesmerizing, soothing and relaxing, I didn't want to leave. The play of light from the pool below this natural cathedral was ever changing and totally breathtaking. I have included several choices here, so you can create a collage of images on your wall.
