Description
In April 2015 Rocky Mountain National Park had a much needed snow storm. Two feet of snow fell, and afterwards the elk gathered in Moraine Park, which is in Rocky Mountain National Park, to forage for what little grasses they could find beneath the deep snow. In the background of this image you can see Twin Sisters Peak on the far left, and Lilly Mountain in the middle. On the right is Longs Peak, but it's hiding in the clouds.
